Christmas Under the Dome – McLean County Museum of History

Join the Museum on Friday AND Saturday for free, festive fun during Christmas Under the Dome!
Friday, December 6, we’ll be open to all from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. for the Downtown Bloomington Once Upon a Holiday First Friday festivities with:
- Adult eggnog and hot cider
- Live music
- Model train display
- Festive photo op
- Card writing activity to spread cheer to folks in local care facilities
Saturday, following the Jaycee’s Annual Christmas Parade, we’ll be open and FREE from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with:
- Santa
- Cookies and hot cocoa
- Live music from community choral groups
- Illinois Art Station Pop-Up for all ages
- Festive photo op
- Ornament making activity
- Ring toss games
- Model trains
The live music lineup on Saturday kicks off with community choir Cantus Novus at 11 a.m., followed by Sue Miller and the Wind Song ensemble at 11:45 a.m., Loving Missionary Choir at 12:30 a.m., and Sounds of Illinois Chorus at 1:15 p.m.
