Celebrate the Grand Re-Opening of the Lewis & Clark Confluence Tower!

It’s time to celebrate the grand re-opening of the Lewis & Clark Confluence Tower in Hartford!
After completing a multi-million renovation, the Village of Hartford and Great Rivers & Routes Tourism Bureau will unveil the refreshed Confluence Tower at a Grand Opening event on Thursday, May 14 at 10 a.m. The public is invited to visit the Tower and see the revamped exterior featuring a new playscape, walk areas and a revitalized indoor visitor experience. All three levels of the Tower have been enhanced with upgraded interpretive signs. The Tower originally opened on May 14, 2010 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Lewis & Clark expedition
For those who would like a birds-eye-view of the area, the 185-foot Confluence Tower has 360-degree observation decks at 50, 100 and 150-feet. All three levels are accessible by elevator or stairs. Exhibits focused on Lewis and Clark and the importance of the Mississippi-Missouri confluence can be found on every level. Guests can also request a brief guided tour that ends with a trip to the highest level of the structure. On particularly clear days, parts of St. Louis and the Gateway Arch can be seen from the upper decks.
The Tower will be open to the public Thursdays through Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Oct. 31. Admission to the Tower is $10 per person. Children under 5 are free.
