“For 24 years, this festival has brought people together to celebrate history, community, and the spirit of Route 66,” said Casey Claypool, President of the Board of Directors. “Our goal has always been to give back to the community that has supported us, and we’re proud to help strengthen organizations that make a difference every single day in the lives of local families. Launching this new donation initiative is an important step in expanding our community impact.”

While the Mother Road Festival has never been a major revenue generator, its success has always been measured by community impact, preservation of Route 66 culture, and the thousands of visitors it brings to downtown Springfield each year. “By attending the festival, you’re assisting us in dispersing funds throughout the community,” the Board shared. “It’s important to us that the enthusiasm and support shown by festivalgoers translate directly into benefits for local organizations doing meaningful work.”
