The City of Litchfield is seeking a qualified Tourism Coordinator. The Tourism Coordinator’s primary responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Develop, coordinate and implement diverse recreational/leisure opportunities to meet the needs of Litchfield citizens and visitors
- Implement a marketing strategy for the purpose of attracting and booking potential customers outside of 50-mile radius for dining, shopping, accommodations, attractions and recreational services in Litchfield through brochure design, billboard displays, print and radio advertisements, and promotional materials
- Maintain websites and promote the City through social media platforms
- Planning, coordinating, and executing special events for the City of Litchfield
- Write and administer grant awards that enhance the Tourism Program
- Draft and operate within the budget for the Tourism Program
