Javapalooza 2025
Take the time to smell the coffee in southwest Illinois this fall. Javapalooza returns to coffee shops throughout the Great Rivers & Routes region Sept. 1 through Oct. 31, showcasing great brews, a Latte Art Competition and the popular Coffee Connoisseur giveaway.
A total of 16 participating coffee shops will serve up a signature Javapalooza drink and provide suggestions for the perfect pairing. Visit a local coffee shop and enter to become an official Coffee Connoisseur and the chance to win one of three prizes.
Throughout the two month event, baristas can show off their skills as master pourers by taking photos of their steamed milk coffee art and submitting to the Great Rivers & Routes Tourism Bureau. The winning Latte Artist will receive a collectible piece of pottery from Mississippi Mud Pottery in Alton.
SIGNATURE COFFEE
Participating shops will create a featured signature coffee drink which will be served from Sept. 1st to Oct. 1st 2024. There will also be a Latte Art Competition and Coffee Connoisseur Competition.
Visitors to participating businesses have the opportunity to win $1,500 in fabulous coffee themed prizes!

and scan the QR code for the chance to win incredible prizes! You can enter once per shop, per day.
LATTE ART COMPETITION
Your most creative barista could win a Coffee Lovers Basket for themselves and an advertisement
package for your store. Great Rivers & Routes will select the top three Latte Art entries and a winner
will be selected by voting on social media.
