DERPFEST 2025 will take place March 28,29,30, 2025. At @hangarartco. Artists will have 48 hours to complete a painting in the gallery.
Derpfest 2025 is a live art and music event where 20 multi-media artists will be invited to complete a work of art on canvas within 48 hours. Artists throughout Central Illinois and the greater Midwest region are invited.
On the 30th the paintings will be auctioned. Proceeds go towards the artist and @ilartstation. There will be live music and more activities!

Artists will receive a 20″ x 20″ or 36″ x 36″ canvas. Tables and chairs will be available. A limited selection of easels (free standing and/or table top) will be available. Artists must bring their own artmaking materials and supplies, which must be safe for use in an indoor art gallery environment. Artists will have access to a utility sink.
NEW THIS YEAR: The first 24 applying artists will be provided with a blank skateboard deck. Artists are invited to paint their skateboard deck ahead of the event for display/sale that weekend (March 28-30) OR artists can opt to paint their skateboard deck live at the event in lieu of a canvas.
