44th Annual GTOAA Nationals

The GTO Association of America (GTOAA) will hold its 44th Annual International Meet June 27-July 1 at the Crowne Plaza in Springfield, Illinois. The event will be hosted by the Gateway GTO Association, one of over 30 GTOAA chapters.

The annual GTOAA National Convention is more than just a car show. It is our multi-day annual get together where our members can see classic and collector GTOs and other Pontiacs, learn new things about the GTO hobby and enjoy each other’s company. During the convention, there will be numerous, informative seminars hosted by some of the biggest names in the Pontiac/GTO collector hobby, a Concours Car Show, a Popular Vote Car Show and much more. Since the annual convention is usually five days long and held in a different location each year, it potentially provides GTOAA members and their families with an opportunity to explore new areas and enjoy a variety of activities. Some activities include round trip motorcoach transportation. Others are self-guided and feature a scenic cruise. There is usually plenty of time built into the convention schedule for members to sign up for all of the activities and give their families a taste of the history and flavor of the convention location.

The convention concludes with an awards ceremony and banquet held on the final evening. All of the GTOAA awards are presented during the ceremony including a beautiful placard to newly recognized Original Owners, Concours Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards and Popular Vote first, second, third and Honorable Mention awards. There are also presentations for the Best of Show in Concours and in Popular Vote.
