Chicago — March 4, 2026 — The Route 66 Centennial Commission has designated P66 Rallye an official Route 66 Centennial project in recognition of the event’s unique contribution to celebrating the historic highway’s 100th anniversary and its profound impact in shaping American culture, mobility, and community.
Scheduled for October 2026, the P66 Rallye is a 10 to 13 day, non-competitive, invitation-led heritage automotive rally and cultural celebration spanning the length of Route 66 from Chicago, Illinois, to Santa Monica, California. The rally aligns with two landmark national milestones, the Route 66 Centennial and the 250th anniversary of the United States, bringing together automotive history and American heritage on the open road.
Conceived as an art-forward, Porsche-themed rally, P66 Rallye blends design, storytelling, and driving into an immersive experience that honors the spirit of American road culture. While celebrating automotive excellence, the rally shines an intentional spotlight on the towns, main streets, and communities that have preserved the legacy of Route 66 for a century. The event is intentionally inclusive in spirit and vision, presenting a bold, contemporary image of Route 66 as it enters its next century of relevance.

Throughout the rally, participants will travel historic segments of Route 66, with single-day public events hosted between driving routes. Every stop transforms into a full-scale production, featuring large-format art installation, curated vehicle builds, live music and activities, vendor villages and an unforgettable brand-driven experience.
By combining automotive artistry, cultural storytelling, and grassroots community connection, the P66 Rallye reinforces the enduring value, utility, and relevance of Route 66, not only as a highway, but as a living symbol of American freedom, innovation, and shared history.
