Springfield, IL / Peoria, IL – Obed & Isaac’s Microbrewery & Eatery is proud to announce the successful conclusion of its Appalachia Strong IPA fundraising initiative, raising $2,500 for the North Carolina Disaster Relief Fund. This effort, part of the “Pouring for Neighbors” campaign, supported those impacted by Hurricane Helene’s devastating effects in Western North Carolina.
From October 25th through the weeks long fundraising campaign, patrons at both Obed & Isaac’s locations rallied behind the cause by enjoying Appalachia Strong IPA. For every pint sold, $1 was donated to the relief fund, with the Conn Family matching each dollar to double the impact.
“We couldn’t be prouder of our community for stepping up to help our neighbors in need,” said Karen Conn, CEO of Conn’s Hospitality Group. “The generosity and enthusiasm shown by our patrons remind us of the power of coming together, even across state lines. We’re honored to have played a small part in helping Western North Carolina rebuild.”
The funds raised will be directed to the North Carolina Disaster Relief Fund, where they will aid local organizations working to provide critical recovery support for families, small businesses, and communities affected by the storm.
Obed & Isaac’s extends heartfelt gratitude to its patrons, staff, and the North Carolina Craft Brewers Guild for making this initiative a success. This fundraiser is a testament to the craft beer community’s ability to unite for meaningful change.
