Odell, IL

Illinois Route 66 Scenic Byway

The Village’s website says it all, “A small town with a big heart where everybody is somebody.” With 992 residents, Odell is the pinnacle of Midwest small town charm while only being 10 minutes away from a major metropolitan area.

The Standard Oil Station is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and you can truly get a sense of the significance of Illinois Route 66 when you see there used to be a subway tunnel for residents to cross underneath a busy 66 in its heyday, quite different from the traffic you see there today.
