The Joliet Area Historical Museum is excited to announce our 2024 Spring season offerings at Old Joliet Prison! Preservation and construction experts been busy all winter long stabilizing, restoring and preserving several buildings at Old Joliet Prison. Come see what’s new and improved.
Starting in April, we will be offering self guided tours on Saturday and Sunday, from noon-5:30 pm, with the last entrance at 4:00 pm. We will be open seven days a week in June, with self guided tours available from noon to 6:30pm. Last entrance at 5:00pm. Guided specialty tours will be added to the calendar in the coming weeks.
