Lunch & Learn: Game Development with Ben Rosset and Jamie Mathy

February 8 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Game Development with Ben Rosset and Jamie Mathy

Learn about the ongoing board game renaissance with local game designer Ben Rosset and owner of Red Racoon Games, Jamie Mathy, on Tuesday, February 8 at 12:10 p.m. in the Museum’s Courtroom and live via the Museum’s YouTube Channel.

Ben is a lifelong board gamer and an award-winning board game designer. He’s been designing games since 2009, was a co-founder of the WashingCon tabletop convention in Washington DC, and is the Director of HR at Panda Game Manufacturing. He loves animals, tea, dark chocolate, history, Seinfeld, Dave Matthews Band, and The Big Lebowski. He lives in Bloomington and is a volunteer at our very own McLean County Museum of History. Learn more about Ben’s games at www.benrosset.games.

Jamie Mathy founded and owns Red Raccoon Games, one of Illinois’ largest board game stores. His mother gave him a Dungeons & Dragons box set for Christmas when he was 7, putting him on a path of geekiness that has never ended. He says he was geeky before being geeky was cool.

Ben will also be available to sign your board games.
