Lincoln and Logan County: Together from the Start

The Elkhart Historical Society is pleased to announce that Ian Hunt, Chief of Acquisitions for the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library, will present “Lincoln and Logan County: Together from the Start” for the May 20, 2022 dinner lecture. This program will explore the early connections that Abraham Lincoln had with the region that would eventually become Logan County and how each influenced the other to greatness. The unfolding of these fascinating early days of development will show that Illinois is truly the Land of Lincoln. The cost for the evening is $45 per person, which includes dinner and the lecture.

The program will be presented at the Elkhart Christian Church Fellowship Community Center at 206 S. Gillett St. Elkhart, Illinois 62634. Doors open at 5p and meal service starts at 5:30pm.
